Preview: Los Fresnos at Permian

In the final game of the non-district schedule, Permian will again host Los Fresnos.  Last year, Mojo blasted the Falcons 56-0 under the Friday night lights of Ratliff Stadium.  The Rio Grande Valley team will visit the Permian Basin on September 27. Palm Desert Dealt Texas-Sized Loss

Odessa, TX — Permian slapped a convincing notch in the win column following Friday’s Homecoming celebration at Ratliff Stadium.  Palm Desert, the first team from California to play the Panthers, ended up on the short end of a 47-14 defeat.

Palm Desert (Cal) at Permian

Palm Desert will be the first California team that Permian has played in the history of the football program.  The Panthers are slated to host the Aztecs on September 20 at Ratliff Stadium.  Mojo will celebrate Homecoming as part of the eventful night. Carroll Brings Good Despite Permian Loss

Odessa, TX — Prior to Friday’s non-district meeting between Permian and Southlake Carroll, the Dragon cheerleaders presented a check for over 21 thousand dollars to the Odessa Community Foundation.  SLC went on to hand out a 48-7 defeat of the Panthers.

Southlake Carroll at Permian

Last year’s slugfest between Permian and Southlake Carroll drew attention from Permian Basin and Metroplex high school football fans alike.  A fourth quarter rally by the Panthers came up four points short in the 24-20 Mojo loss at Dragon Stadium.  Mojo will host the Carroll Dragons at Ratliff Stadium this time on a Black Cat Friday the 13th  in September. Franklin Hands Permian Second Loss

Odessa, TX — It was a day of unity – a day to start the healing process between two communities dealing with tragedy. The 2019 season home opener for Permian left more questions than provide answers in a 49-28 loss to El Paso Franklin on Thursday night.

El Paso Franklin at Permian
