Odessa, TX – Before a standing room only crowd, the annual crosstown showdown between Permian and Odessa High took center stage at Ratliff Stadium on Friday night. The Panthers extended a 28-22 halftime lead to go on to claim a 48-29 District 2-6A victory over the Bronchos.

Wolfforth, TX – Ball control and clock management was completely dictated by Permian in the first half as the high-scoring Frenship offense was left helpless in the District 2-6A catfight. Following an extended weather delay in the fourth quarter, the Panthers escaped with a 17-14 victory at Peoples Bank Stadium.
Permian Drops District Home Opener
Odessa, TX – On a night of homecoming, Permian watched Abilene High doing most of the celebrating as both teams opened District 2-6A action. The Panthers fell behind 21-7 at the half, and were unable to make up the difference in the 42-21 loss in Ratliff Stadium.
Permian Rolls Past El Paso Franklin
Odessa, TX — Friday night’s Revenge at Ratliff featured El Paso Franklin and Permian. The first meeting between the two teams ended in a 49-28 non-district win for the Cougars. This time around, the Panthers flipped the script and rambled to a 48-13 Bi-District victory in Class 6A Division I.
Permian Ambushes Lee In Finale
Odessa, TX — It was a clash of the top two District 2-6A teams as Permian and Midland Lee met at Ratliff Stadium on Friday night. Picked as 15-point underdogs, the Panthers proved otherwise in a 42-39 decision over the Rebels to close out the district schedule.
