AMARILLO — Cold and rainy weather in the Texas Panhandle didn’t prevent Permian from taking care of business on Thursday night. After taking a 17-13 halftime lead over Tascosa, Mojo executed a game winning drive late in the fourth quarter. The Panthers preserved a 32-25 District 2-6A victory at Dick Bivins Stadium.

Midland Outlasts Mojo In Barnburner
ODESSA — In a heated and close first half, Permian and Midland High battled to a 21-21 halftime deadlock at Ratliff Stadium. The war continued in the second half and it came down to a blocked extra point for the Bulldogs to pull out a 49-48 decision over the Panthers in Friday night’s District 2-6A clash.
Mojo Secures District Beating Cooper
Odessa, TX — On a cold and rainy night, Permian and Abilene Cooper met at Ratliff Stadium to decide who would be the 1994 District 4-5A Champion. The Cougars jumped out to a 16-10 halftime lead, but were shutout in the second half by the Panthers for a 31-16 Mojo victory.
Permian Hands Lee District Loss
Midland, TX — On a damp Thursday night, turnovers came by the bucketful. The District 4-5A battle between Permian and Midland Lee remained scoreless through one half of football. It was the Panthers that pulled out a 13-7 win at Memorial Stadium.
