Mojo Reign Falls On Tascosa Rebels

AMARILLO — Cold and rainy weather in the Texas Panhandle didn’t prevent Permian from taking care of business on Thursday night. After taking a 17-13 halftime lead over Tascosa, Mojo executed a game winning drive late in the fourth quarter. The Panthers preserved a 32-25 District 2-6A victory at Dick Bivins Stadium.

2018 District 2-6A Preview

ODESSA, TX – While most of the 2-6A teams utilized the bye week to prepare for the district race ahead, it gave others an extra week to get injured players healthy for the ‘real’ set of games.  The 2018 season is about to heat up, and every game will affect post-season chances, beginning this coming Friday. Midland Outlasts Mojo In Barnburner

ODESSA — In a heated and close first half, Permian and Midland High battled to a 21-21 halftime deadlock at Ratliff Stadium.  The war continued in the second half and it came down to a blocked extra point for the Bulldogs to pull out a 49-48 decision over the Panthers in Friday night’s District 2-6A clash.

Mojo Secures District Beating Cooper

Odessa, TX — On a cold and rainy night,  Permian and Abilene Cooper met at Ratliff Stadium to decide who would be the 1994 District 4-5A Champion.  The Cougars jumped out to a 16-10 halftime lead, but were shutout in the second half by the Panthers for a 31-16 Mojo victory.

Permian Hands Lee District Loss

Midland, TX — On a damp Thursday night, turnovers came by the bucketful.  The District 4-5A battle between Permian and Midland Lee remained scoreless through one half of football.  It was the Panthers that pulled out a 13-7 win at Memorial Stadium.
