Permian Suffers First District Loss

Wolfforth, TX — Permian ventured north to the South Plains for a District 2-6A showdown with the Frenship Tigers.  After falling behind 24-3 at the half, the Panthers were unable to make up the deficit in a 24-13 loss at Peoples Bank Stadium.

Preview: Permian at Frenship

While Thursday night is Halloween, the Black Cats will roll into Wolfforth on Friday night to take on Frenship at Peoples Bank Stadium.  It will be the fourth District 2-6A game for the Panthers and Tigers.  Mojo remains undefeated in district at 3-0, while Frenship is a game behind at 2-1.  Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. Continue reading “Preview: Permian at Frenship”

Midland High Gets Shutout By Mojo

Midland, TX — Going into Friday night’s District 2-6A game with Midland High, the concern by many was will Permian be overlooking the Bulldogs.  That answer came early and ended loud as the Panthers dished out a 62-0 blanking of MHS at Grande Communications Stadium.

Preview: Permian at Midland

This Friday night will be the third District 2-6A game for Permian and Midland High.  The Panthers are undefeated at 2-0, while the Bulldogs are still looking for their first district win.  Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Grande Communications Stadium in Midland.
