MIDLAND — After scoring on the first two drives, Permian watched Midland Lee score three unanswered touchdowns to have the Panthers trail 28-21 at the intermission. The slugfest continued in the second half as the Rebels held on to hand Mojo a 43-36 district loss at Grande Communications Stadium.

Despite Slow Start Mojo Claws Frenship
ODESSA — After coming into the contest somewhat flat, Permian finally came to life to hand Frenship a 38-10 district loss on Senior Night at Ratliff Stadium. The victory for the Panthers sets up the much anticipated District 2-6A finale with Midland Lee at Grande Stadium on November 9.
Black Cats Haunt Midland Bulldogs
ODESSA — Permian punched the post-season ticket after haunting Midland High 34-7 at Ratliff Stadium on Friday night. While the Panthers extended the 21-7 halftime lead, the Mojo defense was responsible for an impressive four interceptions and a fumble recovery.
Mojo Reign Falls On Tascosa Rebels
AMARILLO — Cold and rainy weather in the Texas Panhandle didn’t prevent Permian from taking care of business on Thursday night. After taking a 17-13 halftime lead over Tascosa, Mojo executed a game winning drive late in the fourth quarter. The Panthers preserved a 32-25 District 2-6A victory at Dick Bivins Stadium.
Mojo Sprays Odessa High With 42-10 Loss
ODESSA — Sometimes you just know how things are going to turn out. Permian and Odessa High met on Friday night at Ratliff Stadium to launch the 2018 district slate of games. After jumping out to a 35-10 halftime lead, the Panthers sprayed a 42-10 decision on the Bronchos.
