Permian Rolls Past El Paso Franklin

Odessa, TX — Friday night’s Revenge at Ratliff featured El Paso Franklin and Permian.  The first meeting between the two teams ended in a 49-28 non-district win for the Cougars.  This time around, the Panthers flipped the script and rambled to a 48-13 Bi-District victory in Class 6A Division I.

Bi-District: EP Franklin at Permian

While Friday night will kickoff the opening round of the 2019 Class 6A Division I state playoffs, it will be the second meeting between El Paso Franklin and Permian this season.  It’s been two months since the Cougars’ non-district win over the Panthers.  This time around, the stakes are just a little bit higher. Permian Ambushes Lee In Finale

Odessa, TX — It was a clash of the top two District 2-6A teams as Permian and Midland Lee met at Ratliff Stadium on Friday night.  Picked as 15-point underdogs, the Panthers proved otherwise in a 42-39 decision over the Rebels to close out the district schedule.

Preview: Midland Lee at Permian

This Friday night will feature the top two District 2-6A teams, as Midland Lee travels to Odessa to face Permian at Ratliff Stadium.  A victory by the Panthers will result in district co-champions, while a Mojo loss will give the Rebels sole ownership of the bell. Permian Suffers First District Loss

Wolfforth, TX — Permian ventured north to the South Plains for a District 2-6A showdown with the Frenship Tigers.  After falling behind 24-3 at the half, the Panthers were unable to make up the deficit in a 24-13 loss at Peoples Bank Stadium.

Preview: Permian at Frenship

While Thursday night is Halloween, the Black Cats will roll into Wolfforth on Friday night to take on Frenship at Peoples Bank Stadium.  It will be the fourth District 2-6A game for the Panthers and Tigers.  Mojo remains undefeated in district at 3-0, while Frenship is a game behind at 2-1.  Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. Continue reading “Preview: Permian at Frenship”
