Mojo Wins Catfight Over Franklin Cougars
EL PASO — After battling to a 14-14 tie at halftime, Permian put the Franklin Cougars away in the second half to cruise to a 43-27 victory. The Panthers improve to 1-1 for the year after the non-district win on Friday night at Franklin Stadium.
DeSoto Slips Past Permian In Opener
ODESSA — In the Permian season home opener at Ratliff Stadium, the battle between the Panthers and DeSoto lived up to the state’s expectations. After trailing 21-13 at the half, Mojo watched the Eagles slip away with a 38-28 non-district decision on Friday night.

Ellison Promoted To Lead Panthers
ODESSA, TX – The Ector County ISD wasted no time in promoting Jeff Ellison to interim head football coach for the 2018 season. Ellison has been the assistant head coach and offensive line coach the past season.
