Landon Peterson: Wreck ‘Em Tech
ODESSA — Permian senior Landon Peterson has verbally committed to Texas Tech University and plans to continue his football career in Lubbock. The 6’6″, 265 pound offensive lineman gave his verbal pledge to the Red Raiders on December 10.
Lamar Hands Mojo Playoff Loss
ABILENE — After falling behind 21-7, Permian battled back in the second half to take a touchdown lead. Arlington Lamar reclaimed the lead late in the game to take a 49-35 victory away from Mojo in the Area Round of the Class 6A Division I state playoffs at Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Abilene Christian University.

Bi-District: Permian Shuts Out Coronado
ODESSA — After jumping out to a dominating lead, Permian wasted no time in disposing of El Paso Coronado in the Bi-District 42-0 shutout win on Friday. The Panthers advance to the Area Round of the Class 6A state playoffs.
Permian Suffers District Loss In Finale
MIDLAND — After scoring on the first two drives, Permian watched Midland Lee score three unanswered touchdowns to have the Panthers trail 28-21 at the intermission. The slugfest continued in the second half as the Rebels held on to hand Mojo a 43-36 district loss at Grande Communications Stadium.
Black Cats Haunt Midland Bulldogs
ODESSA — Permian punched the post-season ticket after haunting Midland High 34-7 at Ratliff Stadium on Friday night. While the Panthers extended the 21-7 halftime lead, the Mojo defense was responsible for an impressive four interceptions and a fumble recovery.
