Permian Suffers Rough Start In DeSoto
DeSoto, TX — The Eagles wasted no time unleashing their potent offense on the Panthers in the season opener at Eagle Stadium. Permian fell behind 21-7 in the first quarter. Mojo was able to match DeSoto the remainder of the game, but came up short 35-14 in the non-district clash.
Magazine Makes District Prediction
ODESSA — Considered by many as The Authority on Texas high school and college football, the 2019 edition of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine hit store shelves this week. The magazine is projecting Permian to finish third in District 2-6A.

ODESSA – While Spring Training is still several weeks away, plans are already being finalized for the 2019 non-district schedule. ODESSA — Senior quarterback Peyton Powell has committed to Baylor University over competing offers from Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, TCU, and the Texas Longhorns to name a few. He has received over 20 offers nationally.
2018 Texas All-District 2-6A Football
