ODESSA, TX – In advance of the annual coaches’ All-District 2-6A release, we have comprised the ‘Sportz All-District Performers’ list of deserving area outstanding athletes.
In a season that provided a three-way tie for second place in District 2-6A, 2023 produced the energy that could only come from athletes from the Little Southwest Conference. Based on player statistics and game performances, the collection includes some of the best student-athletes in the state.
While Hudson Hutcheson and Mikey Cota shined in pass-happy offenses like Frenship and Odessa High, Juzstyce Lara and Elijah McCoy racked up rushing yards in Permian and Midland High’s triple-option run-based schemes. Receivers Leyton Stone and Chase Campbell were recipients of Hutcheson’s district-leading success in total yards. Midland Legacy provided the most balanced offense in 2023.
