Permian Picks Up Win In Waco
Waco, TX – Both Permian and Hewitt Midway entered the contest winless with 0-1 records for the 2023 season. It would be the Black Cats from Odessa that would outlast the home Panthers in a 27-21 victory at Panther Stadium on Friday night.
Panthers Ground Eagles In Opener
Abilene, TX – Permian kicked off the 2022 season this evening at Shotwell Stadium. While the defense held Abilene High to 48 yards of total offense, Mojo put together a strong second and third quarter to cruise to a 17-3 victory.
Haka Ends Mojo Playoff Run
Abilene, TX – Permian brought the Mojo in the first half to take a 17-7 lead, but the magic dwindled away as Euless Trinity scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. The Panthers’ Class 6A Division I playoff run came to an end as the Trojans handed out a 28-17 decision at Shotwell Stadium.
Bi-District Catfight In El Paso
El Paso, TX – JaQuan Richardson accounted for five touchdowns in the Class 6A Bi-District game between Permian and El Paso Franklin on Friday evening. The Panthers advance to the Area Round of the state playoffs with a 56-28 victory at Cougar Stadium.
