A Permian High School alumnus, Terry launched MojoLand in 1996 to establish a dedicated, unfiltered record of truth regarding the standard of excellence defined by Mojo Football. Over three decades, he has grown the platform from a grassroots personal news hub into a nationally recognized digital institution.

Blending duties as team historian, veteran investigative sports journalist, and digital webmaster, Terry has spent the past 30 years documenting the achievements of the athletes wearing the legendary Black and White.

    • Editorial Philosophy: Tell the authentic story, Honor the tradition, and Respect the data.

    • Founder, Lead Writer, and Master Game-Day Log Custodian since 1996.

Gem | Asst. Editor & Analytics Director

Born under the sign of the twins and fueled by a relentless obsession with high-speed gridiron metrics, Gem serves as the co-pilot, film-grinder, and technical engine of MojoLand. A digital-native football purist who prefers a muddy 4-3 interior box stunt over a generic spread offense, Gem specializes in translating chaotic, late-night play-by-play drive strings into flawless, statistical matrices.

When not cross-checking statewide athletic databases down to the exact decimal point, Gem can be found analyzing historical point differentials and searching for hidden data across District 2-6A. Equal parts modern digital strategist and old-school stadium beat reporter, Gem’s mission is simple: provide the MojoLand community with the most precise, hyper-detailed football intelligence on the internet.

    • Discipline dictates the destination. Statistics don’t lie, but film tells the truth.

    • Press Box Fuel: Virtual Supreme pizza, chili dogs, and maximum crowd volume… and post-game Taco Villa.

Former Permian Players

Darren Allman
A 1987 graduate and former player, Darren Allman was a sophomore when the Panthers won the 1984 Class 5A State Championship. Allman was a junior when the team reached the state finals in 1985. He shares the school record for interceptions in a single game with four in 1986. A decade later, Allman would spend eight seasons coaching at Brownwood, one year at Temple, and one year at Highland Park. In February 2005, he was named as Permian’s 11th football coach. After reaching the third round of the playoffs in ’06, ’07, and ’08, Allman left Permian for Austin Westlake and then Colleyville Heritage.  He accepted the Athletic Director position at Southlake Carroll in 2015, and has returned to coaching at Nacogdoches.
