With the conclusion of the non-district schedule, it’s time for the “games that count” to commence. The Crosstown Showdown now looms on the horizon for Permian and Odessa High. Permian Celebrates Homecoming Win
Odessa, TX – Permian utilized a strong second half to send the Cajon Cowboys back to San Bernardino, California with a loss. The Panthers claimed a 36-25 Homecoming victory at Ratliff Stadium on Friday night.
Permian Gets Road Win Over Tascosa
Amarillo, TX – After waiting out a 40 minute weather delay, Permian went to work at Dick Bivins Stadium. While the first half featured two offenses worthy of ball control, it was the defense that grabbed the spotlight in a turnover marred second half. The Panthers collected a 23-21 road win over Amarillo Tascosa to complete a successful trip to the Panhandle.
Permian Knocks Off Abilene High
Abilene, TX – You just don’t mess with tradition! After Abilene High jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead, Permian erupted with three second quarter touchdowns en route to claiming a 38-21 victory at P.E. Shotwell Stadium.
Mojo Grounds Falcons In Home Opener
Odessa, TX – Permian bounced back and got into the win column by knocking off El Paso Eastlake 27-12 in the home opener at Ratliff Stadium on Thursday night.
Permian Drops Season Opener To Plano
Frisco, TX – Plano got the better of Permian in the fifth annual Jerry Jones Classic in Ford Center at The Star. After trailing 7-3 at the half, the Panthers fell to the Wildcats 27-17 in the nationally televised season opener.
