Area: Arlington Martin at Permian

After dominating wins over each of their opening round opponents, Permian and #10 Arlington Martin will square off in the Area Round of the Texas Class 6A Division I playoffs.  The Panthers will host the Warriors this Friday evening at Ratliff Stadium. Bi-District: EP Franklin at Permian

While Friday night will kickoff the opening round of the 2019 Class 6A Division I state playoffs, it will be the second meeting between El Paso Franklin and Permian this season.  It’s been two months since the Cougars’ non-district win over the Panthers.  This time around, the stakes are just a little bit higher. Carroll Brings Good Despite Permian Loss

Odessa, TX — Prior to Friday’s non-district meeting between Permian and Southlake Carroll, the Dragon cheerleaders presented a check for over 21 thousand dollars to the Odessa Community Foundation.  SLC went on to hand out a 48-7 defeat of the Panthers.

Franklin Hands Permian Second Loss

Odessa, TX — It was a day of unity – a day to start the healing process between two communities dealing with tragedy. The 2019 season home opener for Permian left more questions than provide answers in a 49-28 loss to El Paso Franklin on Thursday night.

Permian Suffers Rough Start In DeSoto

DeSoto, TX — The Eagles wasted no time unleashing their potent offense on the Panthers in the season opener at Eagle Stadium.  Permian fell behind 21-7 in the first quarter.  Mojo was able to match DeSoto the remainder of the game, but came up short 35-14 in the non-district clash.

Lamar Hands Mojo Playoff Loss

ABILENE — After falling behind 21-7, Permian battled back in the second half to take a touchdown lead.  Arlington Lamar reclaimed the lead late in the game to take a 49-35 victory away from Mojo in the Area Round of the Class 6A Division I state playoffs at Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Abilene Christian University.
