UIL Realignment for 2016-18 Seasons E-mail

Austin, TX - It's the biennial event that coaches and school district officials cringe about... the release of the UIL district realignments.  For the next two seasons the Panthers will be in District 2-6A, which will consist of seven teams.  Midland and Odessa schools will stay in the same district - alongside San Angelo Central, Amarillo Tascosa, and Frenship.  Statewide, the northern half of Texas is losing two districts.


The University Interscholastic League Class 6A district alignments for the 2016-18 seasons:

REGION I

District 1 — EP Americas, EP Coronado, EP Eastwood, EP El Dorado, EP Franklin, EP Montwood, EP Pebble Hills, EP Socorro.

District 2 — Amarillo Tascosa, Frenship, Midland High, Midland Lee, Odessa High, Permian, San Angelo Central.
